Injectables

Neurotoxins and fillers — what they do, how long they last, and what to expect afterward.

How do I know which product is right for me?
+–

That’s the consultation. The four relaxers behave slightly differently — Dysport spreads a little more, Jeuveau and Botox are close cousins, Xeomin carries no accessory proteins — and your anatomy, muscle strength and past results decide which one we reach for. Same with fillers: the area being treated dictates the product, not the brand name.

Does Botox treatment hurt?
+–

Some patients report that being injected with Botox feels like a pinch. Your provider may use ice to numb the treatment area. If you are receiving masseter Botox, the injections are typically quick and well tolerated. A topical numbing cream can also be applied prior to treatment if needed.

Will I look frozen or overdone?
+–

Not here. Our injectors work with a deliberately conservative hand — the goal is to soften what bothers you without freezing expression or changing your face.

How long does the treatment take?
+–

About fifteen minutes. Afterward, stay upright for 4 to 6 hours and skip the gym — otherwise, you can go straight back to your day.

How soon will I see results, and how long do they last?
+–

Wrinkle relaxers take effect in about two to five days depending on the product, and last three to four months. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane give immediate volume that typically lasts six to 18 months by area. Sculptra works gradually over a series of sessions, with results that can last two years or more.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?
+–

The effect first appears in 2 to 7 days as the treated muscles begin to relax, with full effect over weeks 2 to 10. Results generally last 2½ to 3 months, though this varies with metabolism, treatment area and units used. Most clients rebook around the 2½ to 3 month mark to keep results steady.

Does it hurt?
+–

Most clients describe the injections as a quick pinch. Your injector may use ice to numb the area, and a topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand if you’d like. A relaxer appointment takes about 15 minutes, with minimal downtime.

Will I still look like myself?
+–

Yes. Lines soften rather than switch off — our injectors work with a deliberately conservative hand, so the goal is to ease what bothers you without freezing expression or changing your face.

What should I avoid before and after?
+–

Before your appointment, tell your injector about every medication and supplement you take — aspirin, ibuprofen and some herbal supplements can increase bruising, and you may be asked to pause them or skip alcohol for 24 hours. Afterward, stay upright for four to six hours, avoid exercise, saunas, hot tubs and strong sun for 24 hours, and don’t touch or massage the treated area unless your injector tells you to.

Can I combine injectables with other treatments?
+–
Can masseter Botox help my TMJ or grinding?
+–
What should I avoid before my appointment?
+–

Discuss all medications and supplements with your injector before treatment. Aspirin, ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and some herbal medicines may increase or worsen bruising, so you may be instructed to avoid them unless prescribed by your physician. You may also be asked to skip alcohol for 24 hours.

Skin Treatments

Peels, cryo, microneedling and lasers — downtime, series, and how we choose.

Which treatment should I start with?
+–

Almost everyone starts with a consultation. We look at your skin under magnification, talk about what’s bothering you, and pick the one service that moves the needle first — usually a facial or a micropeel before anything more aggressive.

Which facial should I book first?
+–

The Voci Signature Facial. It’s fully customizable, uses all medical-grade products, and includes a dermaplane and extractions — the clearest picture of what your skin responds to. If your skin is sensitive or reactive, start with the EPICUTIS Facial instead.

Why do I need a consultation first?
+–

The number of sessions needed varies from person to person, so we build the plan in person before your first treatment. Arrive at the consultation with the treatment areas unshaven — we need to see the hair, otherwise the appointment gets rescheduled.

How much downtime should I plan for?
+–

It depends on the service. Facials, dermaplaning, DiamondGlow and micropeels have no downtime — at most some mild flaking. After microneedling, redness and swelling usually settle within a few hours, with some light flaking a few days later. Medical-depth chemical peels bring about three to five days of peeling. Mineral makeup can usually go on the next day, or sooner after the lighter treatments.

Are extractions included?
+–

Yes — extractions are included in every 50 to 80 minute facial.

How many treatments will I need?
+–

Typically seven to ten treatments, spaced four to eight weeks apart, with noticeable improvement after four to six. Maintenance treatments may be needed to hold long-term results. We set your exact number at the consultation.

Can I combine services in one visit?
+–

Often, yes. A dermaplane can be added to any chemical peel or to DiamondGlow to enhance results, and every micropeel already pairs dermaplaning with a customized peel. Your esthetician will tell you which combinations make sense for your skin on the day.

How often should I come in?
+–

For lasting change to texture, tone and congestion, plan a series of three facials spaced four to six weeks apart. Your esthetician will build that plan with you at your first visit.

Does it work on my hair color?
+–

Treatment is most efficient on dark hair. Light blonde, red, grey or white hairs may not respond. Most skin types can be treated safely.

Do you use medical-grade products?
+–

Yes. Our facials and peels use medical-grade products, including our own VociSkin line, and we only offer services and products that are medically proven.

Can I add a dermaplane?
+–

Yes. The Voci Signature Facial already includes one, and a dermaplane can be added to the EPICUTIS Express Facial.

Do I shave before my appointment?
+–

Not for your consultation — come unshaven so we can see the hair. Before every treatment after that, shave the area completely 12 to 24 hours ahead.

How should I prep my skin?
+–

Your esthetician will give you instructions for your specific treatment. As a general rule, arrive with clean skin, avoid sun exposure and tanning beforehand, and let us know about any retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin), hydroquinone or acids you use — before some treatments, such as IPL, those need to be paused for 48 hours.

Is there any downtime?
+–

No. Our facials have no downtime — you can go straight back to your day. We do suggest skipping makeup for the rest of the day where you can, especially after extractions, and wearing SPF 30 or higher from the next morning on.

What can’t I do beforehand?
+–

No plucking, tweezing, waxing or hair-removal creams for four weeks before a treatment. Avoid tanning, too — sun, tanning beds and self-tanning products — before and throughout your treatment series. Shaving is fine, and required.

What about waxing while on medication?
+–
What happens if I arrive unshaven or tanned?
+–

We won’t be able to treat you that day. If you arrive at a treatment appointment unshaven, or after recent sun exposure — a tan, burn or artificial tan — the appointment can’t go ahead and may be subject to a late cancellation fee. (The consultation is the one exception: come to that unshaven.)

Can I book a facial after another treatment?
+–

Yes — the EPICUTIS Express Facial is designed for post-procedure skin. How soon depends on the treatment you’ve had, so tell us when you book and your esthetician will confirm the right timing.

Can I treat more than one area per visit?
+–

Yes. Areas can be combined into one appointment — Lip & Chin, Abdomen & Chest and the bikini variations are booked as single treatments. Ask us to build the combination you want.

Is it painful?

Products & Skincare

VociSkin, the medical lines we carry, and how to build a routine that holds.

What is VociSkin?
+–

VociSkin is our own medical-grade skincare line, built to make real changes at the cellular level. Your esthetician can recommend the right products for your skin at your appointment.

05

Massage & Body

What to expect from a massage appointment, and how to get the most from it.

Do I choose a modality when I book?
+–

Yes — each modality is its own complete treatment, so you select one per appointment rather than combining them. If you’re not sure which fits, tell us what’s bothering you when you call and we’ll recommend the right one. Your therapist still customizes pressure, pace and focus areas within that massage.

Which treatment should I start with?
+–

It depends on your goal. Cellulite and lymphatic concerns usually start with Endermologie, general laxity or post-surgical recovery often lean the same direction, while stubborn texture and firmness respond well to Morpheus8 Body or QuantumRF. We’ll confirm at a consultation.

Can I switch modalities between visits?
+–

Yes. You choose one modality per visit, so each appointment can be a different one — Swedish one month, deep tissue the next.

How many sessions will I need?
+–

It depends on your body and goals. With Endermologie, most clients notice improvement after a few visits, with optimal results typically after 10 to 12 sessions. Morpheus8 Body is usually 3 to 6 treatments, once a week, with single maintenance sessions every 1 to 3 months. We’ll build your plan at your consultation.

Which length should I choose?
+–

Sessions range from a focused treatment on one problem area to a long, unhurried full-body massage. Tell us what you need when you book and we’ll suggest the right length.

Is there any downtime?
+–

Endermologie has no downtime, and QuantumRF has essentially none. Morpheus8 Body is performed after numbing; your provider will go over what to expect afterward at your consultation.

How much pressure is right?
+–

Whatever feels right to you. Before your massage begins, you and your therapist agree on pressure, focus areas and anywhere to avoid — and you can ask for more or less at any point.

Can I combine these treatments?
+–
Is massage safe during pregnancy?
+–

Our Prenatal massage is designed for it: side-lying positioning and gentle pressure to relieve back pain, swelling and fatigue. Let us know you’re expecting when you book.

Are these treatments right for post-surgical recovery?
+–

Endermologie is the one we recommend around surgery. Its rollers and suction encourage lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling and support healthier healing. Talk to us about timing with your surgeon’s plan.

Can I get a massage after another treatment?
+–

Yes — Lymphatic massage is designed for post-procedure recovery, encouraging healthy lymph flow to reduce swelling. Tell us which treatment you’ve had so we can confirm the right timing.

What should I do afterward?
+–
